The North of England Mental Health Development Unit is a social enterprise and company limited by guarantee. It was established in November 2011 by two members of the former NHS-funded North East Mental Health Development Unit. We have a Board of Directors who help to ensure transparent governance arrangements, as well as supporting the development of strategy and vision for the company. They also ensure we retain our core value of working in partnership with service users and carers to ensure the work we do results in services that are as good as possible for those who are using them.
